Bright Star Hotel staff very pleasant.checkin was very quick. Rooms were a little on the
small side, but were clean. Bed was comfortable . Definetly value for
money. Travelling as a large family group, did not find area to bad.

Singapore
has a reputation for being expensive for Asia so finding a reasonably
good value place to stay is a challenge so overall I would recommend
this place. Here's my breakdown:
- It is reasonably cheap and the rooms are clean and tidy

It is only 7-8 minutes walk to the nearest MRT station which is located
midway between the city centre and the airport which is quite
convenient
- The wifi is good
- The shower is reasonably good and had hot/lukewarm water all day
- The room we were in had a a big air-conditioning unit
different above the bed in the ceiling. This meant you were either
freezing at night and had to turn it off or boiling as the room heats up
very quickly when it is off = not one good night's sleep was had

Stayed
in their suite room for 5 nights. You will be asked for a $10 SGD
deposit which you can refund after checkout. The room is spacious,
window room, has 2 big comfy beds and clean. The air conditioning is
very good!
There is a complimentary 2 glasses of water per pax and an instant coffee. We have a water heater, a small refrigerator and a
big flat screen tv. In the bathroom, there is a glass door to keep the
water from reaching the toilet area. Water heater and blow dryer
available. They provide shower gels, shower cap, tooth brush and tooth
paste and fresh clean towels. Make sure to request to have your room
cleaned before leaving because they will not do it unless told. They
will also refill your water, coffee and toiletries when you request to
have your room cleaned.
The hotel is accessible. Very near around
affordable food stores where you can get a very decent meal for just 3
to 5 SGD. Around 10 mins walk to MRT.
